Fans of racing games take note: Project Gotham Racing 4 is a dream come true--lots of exotic cars, tons of tracks, weather effects, Bulldog Mode, and a rock-solid career mode to boot. Oh yeah, and motorcycles. PGR4 might be working a gamer niche that is already supersaturated by the likes of Forza, PGR3, and Burnout. But it still manages, despite it\'s competition, to be a furiously enjoyable racer with more variety than it perhaps knows what to do with.

Sony announced today that their Dualshock will have a third iteration, complete with rumble feature and six-axis motion control. I guess there was enough room in there after all. Inside this article are a list of games that will work with the rumble feature, as well as some that will have software updates in order to take advantage of the new controller.

Guitar Hero 2 for the Xbox 360 introduces ten new songs, updates the PS2 graphics, and even revises some old songs in a very complete package. More than just a port, this version is a truly great and smart rethinking of the PlayStation 2 version. To determine how much enjoyment you will get out of either the face-melting new Xbox 360 version (or the old PS2 version, for that matter), you must wrestle with one of the most soul-bending questions of the ages: To Rock, or not to Rock? True to their word, Bethesda isn\'t done with updating their magnum opus The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The latest update is a \"vile lair\" for all you thieves, assassins, and rogues, and even if you\'re just plain evil. It\'s got all you could ever want to feed your bloodlust: evil shrines, evil minions, and even a pen of cattle to feed on. Bloodlust be damned. It might not have a coded fix for some of the bugs in the game, but you\'ll be surprised if it doesn\'t have one of the most coveted cures in all of Tamriel. If you thought the Wizard\'s Tower was cool, you\'re going to love this.

We\'re only 20 days from the release of the Prey Demo on PC and Xbox 360. That means you\'ll be able to see what the gaming media has been raving about since Prey made an unexpected appearance on the show floor at E3 2005. Combining traditional FPS elements with dynamic gravity, Spirit Power, and Portals, Prey adds up to one hell of a shooter. Bethesda Softworks has a verified hit on their hands with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. So the natural question we have for the company is, \"What\'s next?\" Not much is known so far about future Oblivion updates and expansions, although we expect to see some of that at E3, too. So far Bethesda has announced they will show off a new Pirates of the Caribbean title (to coincide with the movie) and two new Star Trek titles (one for PC/XB360 and the other for PSP/DS). Matt James rounds up the details we know so far, and we\'ve got some Trek screens.

The website for the Xbox 360 modchip known as LiThIuM I.C.E. went live in the early hours of January 7th, 2006. While there\'s nothing there yet to cast much additional light on the chip or its creators, one comment on the site does include a date: January 31st, 2006. Is this the release date, or an extension of the two-week pre-order date mentioned on InfinityMods.com? It\'s hard to say. The site also includes information on the chip\'s development time-line, and reseller policies. We\'re all holding our breaths waiting for the site to finish launching, and we\'ll keep you posted.

Bizarre Creations\' Studio Updates has offered another interesting screenshot from Project Gotham Racing 3. The image shows the Xbox 360 running Project Gotham Racing 3 with a spectator crowd of 35,000 people at one time. Each spectator is individually created, making them far more than the simple cardboard cutouts that traditionally appear in this generation\'s racing titles. Apparently the system handled the task without slowing down in the slightest. The screen is from a technology test performed by one of the PGR3 team just to see how much the Xbox 360 could handle. Not bad. Of course, you won\'t be finding 35,000 spectators per track in the actual game, but it\'s nice to see what the system is capable of.

That bunny is on the move again over at OrigenXbox360.com; looks like a couple more apples have grown, too. Game Daily is reporting that a November 25 release date for Xbox 360 is being rumored by some retail outlets. And it looks like EB Games and GameStop have unveiled thir price packages for Xbox Live.

GameStop has unveiled their lineup of Xbox 360 Bundles, and there are stirrings on OrigenXbox360.com.
