Click to read.Proving that they are sparing no expense with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Bethesda has announced more star power to give life to its characters. Having already announced the presence of Lynda Carter as voice talent in the game, Bethesda backs that up with some heavy-hitting Hollywood talent.

Coming on as the Emperor is Patrick Stewart, who is probably most famous for playing Captain Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Sean Bean, who was most memorable as Boromir in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, will play the Emperor\'s lost son and heir to the throne. Rounding out the all-star announcement today is Terrence Stamp, who was seen most recently as Supreme Chancellor Valorum in Star Wars: The Phanton Menace but may be more well-remembered for playing General Zod in the 1980s Superman films.

We\'re glad to hear that Bethesda is putting this kind of star power behind Oblivion. And we\'re more glad to hear that these are not just marketing department additions to the game:

"We wanted to work with voice talent that really captured the emotion and drama of the game's story," said Todd Howard, executive producer for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. "Quite honestly, we wrote the parts with these individual actors in mind. It's an honor to have them lend their talents to the project."

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is set to release this Fall for Xbox 360 and after that for PC.
