Bethesda Softworks has a verified hit on their hands with Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. So the natural question we have for the company is, \"What\'s next?\" Not much is known so far about future Oblivion updates and expansions, although we expect to see some of that at E3, too. So far Bethesda has announced they will show off a new Pirates of the Caribbean title (to coincide with the movie) and two new Star Trek titles (one for PC/XB360 and the other for PSP/DS). Matt James rounds up the details we know so far, and we\'ve got some Trek screens.

E3 is on the horizon, and we\'re all aching to see what is coming down the road for the future of gaming. Right now the inventive minds behind Onimusha and Devil May Cry are working hard on Lost Planet for the Xbox 360. Large robots played a role in the launch of the original Xbox with MechAssualt, and now Capcom hopes to use big robots again to push the Xbox 360 firmly into the next generation of gaming. With seamless environments and a mix of gameplay styles (in-Mech and on foot), Lost Planet might be just the thing to keep the Xbox 360 fresh and selling strong come December. Though it\'s a ways off, we\'re still eager to play some of this incredible looking actioneer. Read why inside!

Apsyr\'s Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars seeks to finally become a staple of the North American PC game library. Spellforce 2 is a hybrid real-time strategy and role-playing game that features massive battles involving both land and air-based fantasy combat. It\'s real pretty, and real chaotic, which is mostly good. Spellforce 2 is available this April for PC, and a demo is available now. Check out Sean\'s preview for the full story.

Meridian 4 is bringing the European indy title Shadowgrounds to the US, and it\'s just the thing for folks looking for that classic feeling mixed with a little contemporary mayhem. Shadowgrounds is budget-priced and independently developed, but this isn\'t just another top-down shooter, and there\'s nothing \"low-tech\" about it. Featuring amazing lighting effects, hoards of enemies bent on carnage, and just perfect audio, Shadowgrounds is a creepy, tense, immersive experience. Check in with George\'s preview for more.

game: Lula 3D
Lula 3D is an early release in the coming wave of adult-oriented semi-mainstream games. Featuring a wacky adventure story and gameplay, not unlike the Leisure Suit Larry series, Lula 3D put gamers in the role of Lula, a porn director who must solve the mystery of her missing stars. Follow Lula on a trail of clues that will have her traversing America in search of porn stars and lewd humor. George is on top of this one, so to speak, and offers up this complete preview.

Tales of Legendia combines a classic fantasy roleplaying game with a unique battle system involving fighting game elements. Final Fantasy has been a holdout series, maintaining its PlayStation 2 exclusivity for the larger part of this previous generation. (Square Enix did give in and release some Final Fantasy games for Gamecube and GBA in the past few years.) The Xbox 360 will break down those walls. Not only is Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi bringing a series of exclusive games to Xbox 360 with his new company, but Final Fantasy XI will arrive on the platform, too. The latest copy of Xbox Magazine features a Final Fantasy XI beta test disc for Xbox 360 owners. If you\'re a fan of FF, then you\'ll want to check this out. Our man, Matt James, has the rundown on the beta test experience.

The Shadow Hearts RPG series returns with its third installment, From The New World. Join Johnny Garland and his crew as they set out to solve the mystery of his family and past, all while mastering skills and battling monsters. All of this takes place in a funky anime version of New York in the 1920s, giving it total niche cred. This one is sure to become a cult fave and maintains the quality of the Shadow Hearts series. Check out Amanda\'s preview here.
