Dead Rising Review
game: Dead Rising
review | 09/14/06 | Chris Martin
Capcom\'s Dead Rising has been a phenomenon: Muthafuckin\' zombies in a muthafuckin\' mall, to borrow a phrase. It\'s a great B-Movie of a game, enjoyable and painful all at once. Yet for all of its blemishes, Dead Rising is worth every eye-straining moment of frustratingly awesome zombie whacking. It\'s not for the faint of heart, in more ways than one. Check out Chris Martin\'s review to find out why Dead Rising is the best bad game you\'ll play this year.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors Adaptation in TheProject.TV Short Film Contest
news | 08/05/06 | Chris Martin
Director Adam Slutsky, Co-producer Sean Jensen, and company are in the business of making us laugh, and feel a little nostalgic for 1994. Their film \"Zombies Ate My Neighbors,\" based on the Konami video game of the same name is a throwback to schlocky horror films and video game horror. The first part of three 3-minute shorts is up on TheProject.TV and we have to say we\'re impressed. The film seems to have everything, even a twenty-something guy playing \"grandma\" in a white wig? Say no more.

And I Start Thinking of Killing Kombies: One Gamer's Struggle for Daily Survival
game: Dead Rising
editorial | 08/02/06 | Chris Martin
\"In Dead Rising, coming August 8th for the Xbox 360 game console, players follow the efforts of ambitious photojournalist Frank West as he investigates the strange happenings at the Willamette Parkview Mall only to find that more than just the Chinese food in the Food Court has been rotting...\" We\'re so happy for a return of the zombie game that we tied Chris to his computer chair with bailing wire (left over from the last time a gamer defected) and forced him to write about what makes a zombie a zombie. By the end of the three-day period Chris, a little pale from lack of food, fell over trying to lunge at us with ominous moans. He bit a big chunk out of Aaron\'s arm as he tried to post this.

Dead Rising Preview and Hands-On with some Maladroit Zombies
game: Dead Rising
preview | 05/28/06 | Chris Martin
While we\'ve had our fill of space-age RPGs and the like, taking a tire iron to the face of a walking undead never becomes antiquated. Capcom\'s phenomenon Dead Rising is looking better than ever, with fixed framerate issues and polished, open-ended gameplay, not to mention the ability to smash a zombie with literally everything and anything you can get a hold of. It\'s \"Shawn of the Dead\" meets \"Resident Evil\" in Capcom\'s most promising IP since \"Devil May Cry.\"

Infected Review
game: Infected
review | 12/16/05 | Laurie Taylor
Majesco\'s Infected has been a highly anticipated PSP title around the GF! offices: It has a great features list that includes zombies (big bonus) and online multiplayer (bigger bonus) that allows you to \"infect\" other players with your personalized virus if you can beat them online (mindblowingly cool bonus). But features lists can only tell you so much. After a long time anticipating this title, we were excited to get our grubby little zombie-slaying hands on it. Laurie came up with a complete review that let\'s you know whether Infected is the next big thing or just a biohazard.

Resident Evil 4 for PS2
game: Resident Evil 4
review | 11/13/05 | Laurie Taylor
Resident Evil 4 is a massive lurch forwards for the quintessential survival horror franchise. A completely new control scheme makes RE4 a much more agile, fast-paced game experience, and the storyline is a refreshing departure from the old \"take out the secret Umbrella experiment\" rigmarole we\'ve gotten used to. This isn\'t your mother\'s Resident Evil game. Making its debut on the PlayStation 2 after a huge success on the Gamecube, RE4 is finding a whole new audience. Our woman Laurie gets down to business with Capcom\'s venerable old franchise, and she likes what she finds.

Resident Evil 4
game: Resident Evil 4
review | 01/24/05 | George Holomshek
As so many gamers will tell you, zombies make for good gaming. And the OG zombie shooter is Resident Evil. When it first came out, the RE series was an amazing achievement featuring moody camera angles and truly frightening gameplay. But after three major incarnations, and twice as many spin-offs, it's hard to keep the magic alive. So we were a little nervous about Resident Evil 4, the latest installment of the series. We all huddled in the back shed and then we pushed out one of our new guys, George, to see if the zombies would eat his brain. He got a little munched, but a couple of green herbs fixed him right up, and he managed to come up with an in-depth review. Click the details link for lots more.

Resident Evil: Code: Veronica X
game: Resident Evil: Code: Veronica X
review | 04/02/04 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Like the zombies it once scared us with, Capcom,'s Resident Evil series just seems to keep shambling forward. It doesn't learn. It doesn't adapt, and it just won't stop no matter what you do to it. Enter Resident Evil Code: Veronica X. While this RE incarnation is new to the Gamecube, it's not new to us. If you missed Code: Veronica on the Dreamcast and the PS2 and can't get enough RE“well, lock and load. But if you need something new, hit the C-stick for a 180 and leave this zombie in the dust. BloodRayne
game: BloodRayne
review | 12/20/02 | Shawn Rider
Majesco\'s big fall title is a sultry little adventure game called BloodRayne. Half-human, half-vampire, and all woman, agent BloodRayne slaughters mutated zombies and Nazis at the same time. It\'s gorey, fun to play, and full of B grade horror goodness. Not for everyone, if this is your thing, you\'ll really love it. Click here.

Resident Evil Zero Review (GC)
game: Resident Evil Zero
review | 12/16/02 | Aaron Stanton
Those neck-chompin\', boot-scootin\', moanin\' and scrapin\' zombies are back. Actually, since Resident Evil Zero takes place before the first Resident Evil, those zombies just haven\'t been cleaned out yet. Slick graphics and a brand new two-character simultaneous play mode set Zero apart from its predecessors.

review | 09/10/99 | Shawn Rider
The Game.com Pocket seeks to make Game.com a major player in the handheld gaming arena. With a touch screen and calendar functions, it offers a bit more than the Game Boy Color in terms of features, but the GBC does have that \"color\" thing. Get the lowdown on the Game.com system and the Game.com version of Resident Evil 2 in this review from Shawn.
