Review: Stacked With Daniel Negreanu
game: Stacked with Daniel Negreanu
review | 07/14/06 | Matt James
Poker is hot right now. Anybody can tell you that. So it\'s no wonder that it has made its way into videogames. In fact, it\'s always been there, being one of the most simple games to program and all. But titles like Stacked with Daniel Negreanu seek to trade on the recent surge in Poker popularity and leverage the latest in gaming technology. Does it work out? Well, we\'ve been trying to guess the review score from looking at Matt\'s stoic face all day long, but we can\'t tell. He\'s that good. Check the review to find out.

Bet On Soldier Goes Gold
game: Bet On Soldier: Blood Sport
news | 08/31/05 | Shawn Rider
Bet On Soldier: Blood Sport takes a high energy FPS starting point and amps it up with some novel approaches to multiplayer gameplay. In BOS, you live and die by your victories, and this war isn\'t waged for peace or freedom; this war is waged for ratings and money. UK gamers will be enjoying Bet On Soldier for PC in a few short weeks, and hopefully we\'ll get to check it out so we can know whether or not to riot in the streets until it comes to the US.

World Championship Poker
game: World Championship Poker
review | 01/15/05 | George Holomshek
There's nothing quite like the thrill of a good hand in a high-stakes game, or the feel of losing it all to some card-shark down the street. World Championship Poker gives you the chance to feel both while still on the go, letting players take on not only Poker games, but Blackjack, Slots, and more. If you're looking for a simple diversion that you can carry around with you, this might be the way to go.

Greek Geeks Fight Gaming Ban
editorial | 09/05/02 | Shawn Rider
In a horribly misguided stab at limiting gambling in public places, the Greek Government has created a ban on all videogames. That\'s right: Playing games on your PC, Xbox, PS2, Gamecube, Game Boy Advance (especially in public) is illegal in Greece. The first couple of internet cafe owners have been arrested already for allowing gaming in their public establishments, and things have gotten more rotten than 4:00 AM at a LAN bash over there.
