Stuntman: Ignition Preview
game: Stuntman: Ignition
preview | 07/23/07 | Chris Martin
One of the under-the-radar games this year, THQ\'s Stuntman: Ignition, has us all excited. Whether it\'s the parody of big-budget action films, the balance of risk and reward, or the allure of string-combos, this game seems to have quite a lot to offer gamers. We took the stuntman\'s job for several hours in the Xbox Live demo of Stuntman: Ignition. We ran through burning buildings, shot down helicopters, and braved a hand-brake-less-reverse-one-eighty, and have big, big smiles to show for it. More inside!

Blue Dragon, Ace Combat 6, and more!
news | 07/16/07 | Chris Martin
It actually came to Xbox Live last week, but I thought I\'d share it anyway. Both Blue Dragon and Ace Combat 6 have their own demos, but so do 2K Sports\' The BIGS, EA\'s Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and THQ\'s Stuntman: Ignition. Quite a bit to keep you busy if you don\'t have enough games already.

Company of Heroes Review
game: Company of Heroes
review | 11/04/06 | Sean Hilliard
Best RTS of all time? After sending our strategy freak Sean Hiliard into the battlefield, he realized that Company of Heroes is all that and a bag of potato chips. It might just be the best real-time strategy game of all time, and it is without a doubt the best strategy game of 2006. Get off your footlocker soldier! We have the reasons why you won\'t want to miss this one, private.

Saint's Row Review
game: Saint's Row
review | 09/16/06 | Sean Hilliard
Saint\'s Row is unmistakably influenced by Grand Theft Auto, but it manages to improve on the GTA formula in certain aspects. And why not? It took Rockstar almost a decade to get gamers into airplanes for crying out loud. And this is the 21st Century! Shouldn\'t we be able to save without retreating to a hideout? And for all of everyone\'s talk about the GTA games being open-ended, free-roaming adventures, they\'re actually incredibly linear narratives constrained by Hollywood cliches. Join the free-roaming revolution and read Sean\'s review.

Titan Quest Review
game: Titan Quest
review | 07/25/06 | George Holomshek
Titan Quest is a 3rd person action RPG that brings Diablo-style gameplay to Clash of the Titans-style content. The result is a bit brainless, but oozing with cool, especially if you\'re a fan of Harryhausen-esque skeleton battles and Greek mythology. Titan Quest does almost nothing new, but it does all of that old stuff really well. If you\'re a fan of the action RPG, or Medusas, Minotaurs and guys in leather skirts, then you should at least check out George\'s review.

Saint's Row Preview
game: Saint's Row
preview | 05/19/06 | RJ Brooks
Saint\'s Row comes off as another GTA clone just trying to cash in on the current fads: Gangstas + Free Roaming Play = $$$. But for some reason, it has taken the interest of Mr. RJ Brooks here on the GF! Staff. What is it? The crazy customizable gangster looks? The street cred imported through story advisors with gang affiliations? Nah, it\'s just the sucker-punching civvies as you car-jack them. That\'s gotta be it. Get the full story about Saint\'s Row in Rob\'s preview.

SmackDown Vs. RAW 2006 Review
game: SmackDown Vs. RAW 2006
review | 01/24/06 | Matt James
SmackDown Vs. RAW 2006 on the PSP is almost identical to its PS2 counterpart: The graphics are quite nice, the control remains enjoyable, and the full depth of play is retained. Including loads of wrestlers, some great WiFi multiplayer, and a management mode that adds a whole new layer to the wrestling game, SmackDown Vs. RAW 2006 is a must-play for portable-gaming wrestling fans. Get the full review from Matt James right here.

Zoo Tycoon DS Review
game: Zoo Tycoon DS
review | 11/22/05 | George Holomshek
Microsoft\'s Zoo Tycoon series is an approachable, enjoyable franchise that allows you to build and manage your own menagerie of incredible creatures. It\'s the kind of game that is played almost exclusively with a mouse, and almost never works out on home or portable consoles. But that\'s just the niche filled by the Nintendo DS, right? That stylus should open up a world of simulated joy for us all, right? Well, don\'t count your ostriches before they hatch. Our man George has the review.

WWE Day of Reckoning Review
game: WWE Day of Reckoning 2
review | 10/16/05 | Chris Martin
We got Chris Martin\'s skinny butt in the ring with WWE Day of Reckoning 2 for the GameCube, and, oddly enough, he came out with a weird afterglow that made him forget about all the bruises and mat burns. Day of Reckoning 2 is pretty much a \"bigger, better, more\" improvement over its predecessor, and veteran in-the-ring game developer, Yuke\'s Media Creations, really brings it with a game good enough to make non-wrestling fans want to play it. Check out the review here.

Evil Dead: Regeneration Review
game: Evil Dead: Regeneration
review | 10/15/05 | Jeremy Kauffman
Deadites rejoice! THQ is once again providing the campy horror antics that only Bruce Campbell and CO. can provide. At under $20, there is more than enough to satisfy Evil Dead fans, although non-fans might be left wondering what the big deal is. Check out the review of Evil Dead: Regeneration, and Jeremy\'s triumphant return to GF!, right here.

What the Truck? Another Big Mutha Truckers?
game: Big Mutha Truckers 2
review | 09/12/05 | Steffan Del Piano
UFOs. Biker gangs. Hobos. Big Rigs. Sonic the Hedgehog. Okay, maybe not Sonic but Big Mutha Truckers 2 has got lots of crazy characters. But is it worth making a (truck)stop at your local game store? Or is this one situation where you\'re better off to just Keep on Truckin\' right along.

WWE Wrestlemania 21
game: WWE Wrestlemania 21
review | 08/20/05 | Eric Bodrero
It seems at least once or twice a year we get a new wrestling game, which is great for fans, but what does WWE Wrestlemania 21 have over the countless other wrestling games? Find out if it has what it takes to pin the competition, or if it gets hurled from the top turnbuckle.

Destroy All Humans
game: Destroy All Humans
review | 07/29/05 | Shawn Rider
Destroy All Humans puts you in control of a one-man alien army bent on pure human-based carnage. With a wise eye towards classic Sci-Fi B movies and a good amount of carnage-creation tools, this is one for all the SF geeks in the house.
