Just arrived on Xbox Live today are two new demos. Eternal Sonata from Namco Bandai is likely to satisfy all those eager for a JRPG on Microsoft\'s console, and Vampire Rain, which is, something else entirely. I personally am excited for Eternal Sonata, as I haven\'t played a JRPG in some time and it looks fantastic from previews. I\'m less excited for the universally panned Vampire Rain, where you\'re an elite special forces unit sent to thin out the vampire ranks. Impressions forthcoming.

\'I am stronger than you are!\' \'No, I am strogner than you are!\' And then the two guys start screaming and powering up, and there\'s a lot of fighting. Yes folks, that\'s my summary of the craziness that is Dragon Ball Z. But despite that, it makes a pretty fun fighting game! And once you\'ll read this, maybe you\'ll understand why.

Namco and Bandai have merged their companies, and the resulting reorganization has given birth to Namco Networks, a new company dedicated to mobile gaming. GF! got the chance to speak with Scott Rubin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Namco Networks in North America. Rubin knows the ins and outs of mobile gaming and discussed a lot of topics, ranging from the challenges involved in developing games for mobile phones to the possibility of Katamari Damacy making an appearance on a handset near you. Bandai and Namco have officially inegrated their North American operations. They are now known as Namco Bandai Games America Inc. It looks like Bandai will be moving into the former Namco Hometek headquarters in Santa Clara, California. Namco is well-known for classic games dating back to Pac Man and Dig Dug, but also for recent hits like the Soul Calibur series. Bandai holds several popular anime/manga/game franchises as well, including Gundam, Cowboy Bebop, .Hack, and many more. Click here for the official press release.

Lumines is the hipster puzzle game for the PSP that's got everyone tripping out on rave-tastic visuals and bumping techno beats. But Shawn is here to say that for all those non-raver, techno-hating gamers out there, Lumines is still a dang fun puzzle game. And you can still trip out on the graphics without dressing like a candy bar.
