We\'re just about two months from the release of the Xbox 360, and it\'s recommended that you consider pre-ordering a system if you\'re expecting to pick one up; certain retailers have been told to take a limited number of pre-orders because of possible shortages in stock. But what game should you pre-order with the system?
What\'s going to be that Killer App that will do for the 360 what Halo did for the original Box? There\'s been a lot of speculation that Microsoft is putting a lot of time and effort into making Perfect Dark Zero the title that will drive the Xbox 360 sales at launch. Whether or not the rumor is true, whether or not Perfect Dark Zero is going to be extraordinary, we have no way of telling. However, if you\'re hungry for some video of the Xbox 360 is action, there are some videos, apparently captured on the sly with a camcorder, of Perfect Dark Zero\'s gameplay.
Copies of the videos have been popping up around the Internet, but you can
find them for viewing over at the GameSpot forums. Since we\'re not hosting these ourselves, we can\'t promise how long they\'ll be available. We provided some direct links as well, but if they stop working, check out the GameSpot link above.
- The first video occupies itself with Perfect Dark\'s graphics and is probably one of the more interesting videos if you\'re eager to see what the 360 can do. The fellow controlling the system has the character looking at walls and such to see the textures and lighting effects.
- The second video is in Windows Media Format, and is lower quality, but shows more actual gameplay.
- The third video is hardly worth your time; it shows nothing more than menu screens.
- The fourth video certainly has more gameplay elements than the third one, showing the character running around, shooting, and occasionally doing some sort of roll. You can also see the debug information on the screen, reminding us all that this is a game still in development.
- Video five would be one of the best in the collection, except that the user keeps activating something that turns the screen white. The segments when it\'s off show a number of different guns firing, explosions, and a lot of foliage.
