This is wonderful news.

After a few hours playing through the VGA remakes of King\'s Quest I and II by AGD Interactive, I\'ve recently been lamenting the loss of the adventure genre. Raised on classics like Quest for Glory and Space Quest, I find it depressing that the closest this generation has to good adventure titles are Syberia and Dreamfall. The commercial adventure game on the PC has nearly ceased to exist.

And I\'ve been missing them. Inspired by a friend\'s comment about wanting to play, \"games without killing,\" I\'ve been hunting for a quality adventure experience in the modern age. The hunt lead to a nostalgic review of the VGA versions of King\'s Quest I and II, which sadly ended too quickly, and an exploration of the free and extraordinary Adventure Game Studio, which allows average users with some artistic skill to make their own adventure games.

Now, another group of enthusiast developers called Infamous Adventures has produced a stunning VGA remake of King\'s Quest III: To Heir is Human. There\'s not much to say except that you need to play it. King\'s Quest III was originally released in 16-color glory, and is considered one of the best games in the Robert William\'s franchise. This upgrade brings it into play for a new generation of gamers, and if you\'ve never experienced adventure games, then this is a place to start. Adventure games do not get any better than King\'s Quest.

Sadly, they just don\'t make games like this anymore. Thankfully, they do remake them. Thumbs up to both the teams at Infamous Adventures and AGD Interactive for quality work.
