Devil May Cry 2 Review (PS2)
game: Devil May Cry 2
review | 02/17/03 | Monica Hafer
Capcom\'s wunderkind, Dante, is back, and this time around everything is even cooler to look at, more outrageous, and, well, a lot like what you\'d imagine. Devil May Cry 2 is a good game, but it doesn\'t pack the same wow factor as the original. Click here for more.

Red Faction 2 Review
game: Red Faction 2
review | 11/08/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
THQ has scored more than an ordinary hit with Red Faction 2. Building on the original installment of the series, RF2 offers an amazing story of the kind we don\'t often see in videogames. Sure, the Geo Mod technology is still there, and still fun as hell, but this one is about telling a good tale, and we commend its success.

INTERVIEW - Richard Garriot, MMO Visonary, Part 2 of 2
Articles Archive | 07/17/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Richard Garriott. Lord British. I remember reading those names when Ultima Online was first announced, about the time when massively multiplayer games first began to come into realization. The names, both describing the same person, are synonymous with boundary-pressing game design and personal adventure. Professionally he's the founder of Origin Systems, the creator of the Ultima series, the power behind one of the first games to pioneer the concept of massively multiplayer. Having become involved with NC Soft and the incredibly popular Lineage, he's still making waves in the world of online role-playing. In person he's a charismatic fellow in blue jeans who just happens to have a lot of experience turning dreamy fantasies into working reality. I got a chance to speak with Garriot at E3 2002.

Sled Storm Review (PS2)
game: Sled Storm
review | 06/11/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Our man, Jake, checked out Sled Storm. Published in EA\'s Big line, this isn\'t really a sequel, but more of an upgrade to the original Sled Storm, released for PSone. The graphics are great, and there are some cool elements (racing for pink slips anyone?), but overall it needs some work. Click here for the scoop.

Let the eighties nostalgia well up in you, for Tron is not gone for good. A new movie and videogame will revive Tron, and for that we are grateful. Tron 2.0 is an FPS (that data disc is way, way cool) that has you sucked back into the computer. With graphics that look about as good as the original film, this is going to be fun. Click here.

Playstation 2 Release Dates
Articles Archive | 01/01/00 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Well, Sony has committed. The PlayStation 2 will be available on October 26, 2000, and it will cost $299. I will take a moment to thumb my nose at anybody who predicted a price higher or lower “ it only makes sense that Sony would release their second system at the same original price as the first. Sony also intimated in their press conference that the PS2 will follow a similar price evolution as its predecessor, which means the price will eventually drop.
