game: Metal Slug 4 & 5
review | 09/16/05 | Matt James
Metal Slug 4/5 from SNK Playmore brings the classic Metal Slug 2D sidescroller to the Xbox once again, this time in a double-game combo pack. The inclusion of two games is good, because these things are quick plays. But if you\'ve worn out the analog stick on your NGPC, then you know you\'re in the target audience here. For the rest of us, Matt James tells us why this is a \"renter\" rather than a \"buyer\".

With 80's retro in full bloom, it's hard not to feel nostalgic about the music, TV, and most importantly, games from the decade of decadence. Ok, well, it's harder for some than it is for others. Capcom doses us again with the Mega Man goodness, and we wish we loved it more. Mega Man Network Transmission returns to its 2D roots to commemorate the 15th anniversary of our little blue hero, but a variety of things keep this from being our retro hit of the summer.

game: WWE Road to Wrestlemania X8
review | 12/22/02 | GF! Back Catalogue 10/2004 => 1995
Certainly the most horrible wrestling game we\'ve played this year, WWE Road to Wrestlemania X8 is a stinker that no wrestling fan wants to find in their stocking. Bad animation and bad controls ruin this game, although the retro Mortal Kombat vibe is kind of cool. Click here.

Nostalgia gaming is a hot topic these days. We hear from gamers who insist the old-school was the best school of gaming. game: Williams Arcade Classics
review | 10/02/99 | Sarah Wichlacz
Williams Arcade Classics shows off just what the Game.com is good at: Small games with primitive graphics that are quick to pick up and quick to put down. Sarah takes Williams Arcade Classics for a spin.
game: Centipede
review | 09/19/99 | Shawn Rider
Hasbro\'s famous development house, Atari, brings us a port of the classic arcade game Centipede. Featuring all of the action, but none of the pretty colors, this version of Centipede is relatively humdrum.
game: Monopoly
review | 09/15/99 | Shawn Rider
Game.com is created by Tiger Toys, and Tiger\'s parent company, Hasbro wants in on the action with the release of Monopoly. Featuring some pass-and-play multiplayer, there are worse things you could be doing with your Game.com stylus.
