This week in the Mailbag, we\'ve got all kinds of media-centric inquiries, ranging from the Xbox 360\'s media features to getting media onto the PSP and a few more tips to help you find an HDTV that will be compatible with the PlayStation 3. As usual, Matt James has put all of the best letters of the week together for your reading pleasure.
game: Xbox 360
feature | 12/03/05 | Aaron Stanton
The Xbox 360 has been disappearing off store shelves, both in reality and online where the shelves are much less tangible. In in article we posted last week, we pointed out that eBay\'s Xbox 360 listings have dropped nearly 3,000 units a day, and we predicted that - if trends continued - eBay would be sold out by December 1st. Well, it\'s now December 3rd, and the question is... did they? Are prices on the rise again? Will Microsoft\'s claim of impending shipments manage to help reduce the online price gouging we\'re experiencing moving into Christmas?
editorial | 11/26/05 | Laurie Taylor
\'Tis the season, and we\'ve got to admit that it has been a season full of hardship, which has created plenty of opportunities to put our best feet forward. Gamers have rallied to help raise money for recent natural disasters, but we always need to keep in mind that we still need to provide consistent support for charitable activites that don\'t necessarily get nightly news coverage. One such good cause is the Child\'s Play Foundation, created by Gabe and Tycho from Penny Arcade. Child\'s Play helps provide needed entertaining diversions for children\'s hospitals, and we\'re glad that Laurie took some time out to write about this very worthy cause. Find out how you can bring some joy to the world in your own little way.
game: Amped 3
review | 11/22/05 | Shawn Rider
Amped 3 is known for bringing the more realistic approach to snowboarding, but previous installments have suffered from a severe lack of personality. This time out, developer Indie Built has gone out of their way (and possibly minds!) to bring a much more appealing Amped to the table. Amped is still the best realistic snowboarding sim you\'ll find, and the robust story mode and enhanced control system help it stay on top this time out. But can it break out of the snowboarding game ghetto to capture the mainstream audience? Check the review to find out.
game: Spyro: Shadow Legacy
review | 11/17/05 | Laurie Taylor
Spyro: Shadow Realm is more than a little shady. In fact, it\'s all we can do to keep from making a dragon-doo joke. But this one is for the kids, so let\'s keep it clean. Spyro: Shadow Legacy is a deeply flawed game, with unfinished, glitchy gameplay. It doesn\'t take long for the game to get repetitive, and the fact that half of the game is just the first half with a different color palette doesn\'t help. Check Laurie\'s review for the lowdown on Spyro: Shadow Legacy.
game: Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
review | 11/16/05 | Jeremy Kauffman
Tony Hawk\'s American Wasteland marks the third incarnation of the immensely popular series. Is it a worthy successor to THPS and THUG? Well, do BMX bikes and the French sport of freestyle walking, aka Le Parkour, turn you on? They should. And does a seamless recreation of Los Angeles help? It might. And what about online multiplayer for Xbox owners? It\'s about time. Veteran skate punk, Jeremy, put thumb to controller to give you this review.
game: Xbox 360
editorial | 11/09/05 | Aaron Stanton
Assuming you\'re lucky enough to get an Xbox 360 on the November 22nd launch day, you\'re going to want to have a game to go with it. Sure, you can throw in Halo 2, but you\'re not going to see the true power of the system until you have something that\'s built for it. The problem is, what do you buy? How do you judge quality before the system releases? It\'s a dilemma we\'re going to try to address. We break down the games that will be available on launch day to help you decide which ones fit best in your DVD tray.
game: Phantom
news | 11/03/05 | Aaron Stanton
Infinium Labs has faced an upward battle for recognition as a legitimate player in the game industry. Ever since HardOCP.com published an article challenging the track record of Infinium Labs\' founder Tim Roberts, the company has been defending itself as much as it has been promoting their products. Numerous delays in releasing the Phantom game console have not helped their case any, and now they\'re facing additional problems. Apparently, the U.S. SEC is now investigating Infinium Labs for what amounts to unpaid taxes and poor payroll keeping. Just one more brick in the wall...
game: Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2
review | 11/01/05 | Amanda Bateman
Atlus serves up another hot helping of demon-eating anime goodness in Digital Devil Saga 2, the final chapter of their dark sci-fi RPG adventure. With additions including mini-games, stronger spells and attacks, new characters, and other secrets, you\'d think it\'d be hard for them to mess this one up. But don\'t go \'berserk\' on it just yet; get the scoop here before sinking your fangs into this RPG.
game: Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel Without a Pulse
review | 10/24/05 | Shawn Rider
Aspyr is not one of the biggest publishers, but with some solid games under their belt (Lego Star Wars was a groundbreaking title), they\'ve put out some great experiences. The highly anticipated Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel Without a Pulse is an incredible effort. Built on the Halo engine, Stubbs the Zombie features some rock-solid gameplay that is good, wholesome, gory fun for zombie fans. Help Stubbs assemble his shuffling army of the undead and take over the small hamlet of Punchbowl, PA. Check out our full review here.

game: Crackdown
news | 10/05/05 | Shawn Rider
To put it in marketing language (from all companies, not just MS), we\'ve moved beyond the era of \"GTA Clones\" and into the era of the \"action-driving\" genre. However you want to classify it, Crackdown looks like it will bring something good to the Xbox 360. It helps that Microsoft has tapped Real Time Worlds, which is headed by David Jones, and whose key members created the original Grand Theft Auto as well as Lemmings. So something good could happen here. Read on for more info about Crackdown, which should be on the must-have list for any action-driving fan.

GamesFirst brought back an old feature of ours from way back in the day, the GF! Mailbag. Well, as part of the mailbag, we get letters. Most of our letters are good, easily readable, and thought out; some are less so. Do us all a favor and please remember to specify the game that you\'re playing when you have a question about it. To
help illustrate the point, check out this week\'s Twoplayer comic,

game: Zelda
editorial | 09/17/05 | George Holomshek
The creator of The Legend of Zelda series made rather cryptic comments recently about how The Twilight Princess will be the final Zelda title we\'ll see in this form. Changes are coming. Now that the Nintendo Revolution\'s controller has come onto the stage, we couldn\'t help but wonder exactly what that means. Will Zelda be better for the ability to fish and draw a bow with your hand? We take a look at what Zelda might be in just a few years.
