game: Steambot Chronicles
review | 05/29/06 | Amanda Bateman
Steambot Chronicles is the newest Atlus release for the PS2, allowing players to do anything from farming to ferrying to fighting, all on the back of a two-legged transport robot called a Trotmobile. This is definitely not your traditional console roleplaying game. Non-linear gameplay and amazing diversity of things to do has kept our gal, Amanda, busy defeating evil and buskering for UR. Goooaaaaal! Worldwide Soccer Manager 2006 Review
game: Worldwide Soccer Manager 2006 (Football Manager 2006)
review | 02/03/06 | Chris Galbraith
Worldwide Soccer Manager 2006 (or \"Football\" Manager as it\'s known across the pond) claims to be the most popular game in Europe. It features no 3D graphics, no compelling tackle or pass system, and no announcers providing play-by-play color commentary. Worldwide Soccer Manager focuses on the detailed strategy of running a soccer team: From finances and training schedules to promotions and contract negotiations, you\'ll assume the role of coach and micromanage every little detail about your club. It\'s not for everyone, but it\'s well-loved in certain circles. So we got our resident Euro-living American soccer nut, Chris Galbraith, to bring us back this review. Check it out.

SmackDown Vs. RAW 2006 on the PSP is almost identical to its PS2 counterpart: The graphics are quite nice, the control remains enjoyable, and the full depth of play is retained. RAW 2006 is a must-play for portable-gaming wrestling fans. Get the full review from Matt James right here.

FIFA 06: Road To The FIFA World Cup Review
game: FIFA 06: Road To The FIFA World Cup
review | 01/01/06 | Matt James
EA Sports\' FIFA franchise is often the only thing going in the US, and that\'s not necessarily a good thing. Matt James took a close look at FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup, the Xbox 360 launch incarnation of the FIFA series, and found that it\'s probably not worth the upgrade. The visuals are real purty, but the rest of the game just isn\'t up to par. It\'s too tough for newbs to pick it up, and it lacks features and roster that the current-gen versions have. Get the full story here.

NBA 2K6 Review
game: NBA 2K6
review | 12/30/05 | Chris Martin
In the battle of Xbox 360 launch titles, two contenders went head-to-head on the hardwood: NBA Live 06 and NBA 2K6. Chris Martin already reported on NBA Live\'s disappointing performance, but left us dangling on NBA 2K6\'s courtside prowess. So how does the 2K Sports title fare against behemoth EA\'s basketball baby? Rather well. Featuring a lot more material than NBA Live, and prettier graphics, NBA 2K6 is the basketball title to pick up. Check the review for the details.

Madden NFL 06 Review
game: Madden NFL 06
review | 12/12/05 | Jeremy Kauffman
Madden 06 brings the gridiron to the Xbox 360. With graphics built from the ground up for the next generation system, it is prettier than ever, and sports a few gameplay tweaks to boot. But like all of the EA Sports lineup, it is curiously missing some features and seems to be catered to hardcore fans. So what\'s the final verdict? Read Jeremy\'s full review here.
